Collar bows are available in two styles (Bow Tie and Fancy Bow) and three sizes; SMALL (recommended for mini-Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, etc.), MEDIUM (ideal for Westies, Cocker Spaniels, Beagles, etc.), and LARGE (for Labs, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, etc.) Choosing the next-larger size of either style bow is a matter of preference, but because the Large Bow Tie uses 2-1/4" width ribbon it might be uncomfortable worn under a smaller pet's chin. Soft two-sided velcro strips wrap around and overlap on the pet's collar holding the bow firmly in place (but without the "sticky" side of the velcro contacting or tangling your pet's coat). Whether you select a Fancy Bow design or a traditional Bow Tie design - in ribbon or bonded cotton fabric - it is constructed for long-term use and is hand-washable.
